U8 Hurlers qualify for Section 1 Play offs

On Saturday the Swatragh U8 hurlers took part in the preliminary round for the Under 8 North Antrim League in Coleraine. The boys put in a tremendous effort sweeping aside all comers during the day. The team started of by beating Dunloy, Burt and Slaughtneil. Then the boys had their toughest encounter with Eoghan Rua and a late winner gave the boys a deserved victory. In their final match Swatragh put Strabane to the sword with an emphatic victory to end the day unbeaten. Well done to all of the squad: Dermot McKeown, Michael Bradley, Declan Quinn, Tiernan Walsh, Niall Coyle, Dominic Bradley and James Conway.
