Banagher 0-12 Swatragh 1-13

Swatragh continued their good start to the season with a win over Banagher on Friday evening. The Davitts led from start to finish and were always able to respond any time the home side threatened to get level.

Declan McGuckin got the only goal of the game in the first half, firing home from close range. Michael Kirkpatrick was also in good scoring form including one from a sideline cut. Keeping a clean sheet was also crucial, and the entire defence was in good form in front of Seamus McAlary who was safe in goals.

Swatragh will be pleased with the win and how they have started the season, but still have plenty of improvements to make in the matches ahead.
