Swatragh 2-08 Kevin Lynch’s 0-18

Hard luck to the senior hurlers who came within touching distance of making their first hurling final. After five minutes Swatragh led by a point to no score, but between the fifth and fifteenth minutes the Dungiven men tagged over six unanswered points. Swatragh lost the game in this period as they outscored the Lynch’s for the remainder of the game.

It was hard luck on the Davitts who matched the strongly fancied Dungiven side for almost the entire game. A lack of big game experience possibly proving decisive at crucial stages.

Martin Quinn had an outstanding game in the Davitt defence while Ruairi Convery was as accurate as ever in attack
