Dungiven 3-10 Swatragh 1-10

Two goals conceded in the run up to half time proved decisive as Swatragh fell to the league leaders at O’Cahan Park. Up against a slick Dungiven outfit, still in the championship running, Swatragh battled well but were always playing catch-up.

At half time the Davitts trailed by eight points, but as the game entered injury time the deficit had been reduced to three only for Dungiven to find the net again. For long periods of the match Swatragh had been on top, but were over reliant on Ruairi Convery for scores up front. Dungiven on the other hand were much more ruthless in front of goal and seemed to have more attacking options.

Best for Swatragh Ruairi Convery & Michael Friel.
