Glenullin 4-18 Swatragh 3-06 (From Derry Website)

Having watched contenders Ballinderry annihilate Glen on Friday night, reigning Derry Senior Football champions Glenullin sent out a signal that they intend to hang on to their crown with a handsome win over Swatragh at Celtic Park on Sunday afternoon.

The Mitchel's massive tally of 4-18 was all the more impressive for the fact that Paddy Bradley didn't manage a point from play until the 52nd minute, by which time the game had long since been won.

Two goals from Ruairi Boylan and one from Eoin Bradley had the Mitchel's in front by 3-08 to 0-03 at the break, with Bradley adding a second for himself after the break.

Swatragh did manage to threaten briefly, with three goals in a seven minute spell reducing the gap to a goal at one stage, but Kevin Madden's side pulled away again towards the end.
