Club Notes 15th June

The Stephen Quinn Memorial U14 football competition was held in Swatragh on Sunday 14th June. This turned out to be a fantastic day with some very entertaining football played by 10 teams with Glen eventualy emerging the victors defeating Slaughtneil in the final. The winners and finalists were presented with there medals by special guests Fergal Doherty and the Quinn family. Huge credit must go to the organising committee for what is the second year of the tournament and hopefully it will grow from strength to strength. A big thankyou to all the teams that competed and for the referees who gave up there Sunday to be there for it.

Anyone ordering tickets for Derry v Tyrone match must contact Peter Friel or Cormac McCormick by Wednesday Noon. Tickets will be collected on Thursday evening. Note that tickets will be for stand only as all terracing will be pay at the Gate.

The senior championship match against Glenullin has been confirmed for Sat 27th June. 8pm at Dungiven.

Swatragh Reserve footballers had a 1 point victory over Castledawson on Friday night.
