Club Notes - 12th May

The minors footballers put in a very encouraging performance against Slaughtneil last Tuesday night and came back from the setback of conceding 2 early goals to come out with a draw. It was an excellent 2nd half performance and a very exciting game. Final Score Swatragh 3.11, Slaughtneil 3.11. The U16 Footballers were defeated by Kilrea by a point during the week while the U16 hurlers had a victory over Lavey.

Congratulations to the senior team on their victory over our neighbours Slaughtneil in the 1st round of the championship with the highlight being Mick O'Kane's half volley and wonder save.  They now play Glenullin with a provisional date pencilled in for 10-12th July.

The senior and reserve footballers each had victories over Banagher at the weekend. Senior team won on a scoreline of 1-10 to 0-05,  lined out as follows.
